The credit unions in the Carolinas have a rich history with Victory Junction, a summer camp dedicated to challenging children who have a serious medical condition to try things they never imagined possible. Over the last two decades, credit unions in the Carolinas have supported Victory Junction to the tune of more than $4 million with funding for two cabins, four medical units, revamping of its spiritual center and many more enhancements to its camp.
In 2015, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation made a tremendous pledge, the largest in its history. With a $900,000 commitment from the Foundation though 2019, Victory Junction has the ability to deliver its camp experience year-around to local children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses in the Carolinas though the Reach Program.
Credit union employees can volunteer through the Foundation to assist with the Reach Program at local Ronald McDonald Houses. For more information, please email [email protected].
