Connections for Non-Profits
“People Helping People” is a longtime motto of credit unions across America and most certainly here in the Carolinas! Each year, credit unions join forces with the Foundation to award millions of dollars in grants to non-profits, relief funds to credit union employees and members in times of emergencies, and scholarships for higher education across the two states.
Listed below are credit unions in the Carolinas with Foundations and/or active grantmaking programs. If you see a credit union serving your community and engaged in projects that overlap your organization’s mission, you are invited to contact them.
In addition, many other local credit unions not listed provide funding support to nonprofits in their communities. You are invited to contact your local credit union and share your organization’s mission and purpose with them!
