Workshop Overview
”People Helping People” is the credit union mission and we leverage our cooperative principles every day to better serve members in a way that is inclusive, by allowing people to have the tools they need to improve their financial well-being. An important aspect of our cooperative values is leading through empathy, putting yourselves in your members’ shoes in order to better serve them. Now more than ever, it’s important to practice empathy and this workshop will provide you with critical action steps to put this into practice. These skills will also help you further your diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts for your employees and members amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond as the credit union movement continues its DEI journey together.
Donations Encouraged
This virtual Empathy Workshop is FREE. Tax-deductible donations from credit union professionals are encouraged but not required for participation. Any proceeds of the conference will benefit the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation’s Community Grant Fund, supporting our Chapter system and local non-profits in communities across the Carolinas
