The International Credit Union Development Educator Designation (ICUDE) is awarded by the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions in partnership with the World Council of Credit Unions and the Global DE Network. Before applying for the ICUDE designation, you must complete four criteria, which includes earning a second DE designation by completing a DE program outside of the United States.
If your professional journey includes earning your esteemed ICUDE designation, the Carolinas CUDE Network’s ICUDE Scholarship is for you! This scholarship provides up to $4,500 in support of travel and tuition to attend an international DE program.

The Carolinas CUDE Network’s ICUDE Scholarship is open to any CU employee or volunteer in the Carolinas who:
Applications are accepted each year from June 1 – August 15. Approved applicants may use the scholarship funding to complete their ICUDE designation in the following two years. Strong preference will be given to applicants who have previously attended the World Council Conference or another international conference.
